Croatia with the Wynn's - Part 5: Anyday past Sunday

In the taxi to a beach (probably)

Mark had malaria. No joke. This is the stuff he took with him the Split after being diagnosed on Vis. We got worried, as the doctor on Vis had said he hadn't seen malaria for 20 years, and we were unsure of whether Mark could get the treatment he needed in Split, on Croatia. Every day he didn't get his treatment was a risk, but luckily when he got to Split, he found that the pills the doctor had given him on Vis were correct for his strain, so he had had his medication almost immediately, and that the doctors on Split, apart form being ignorant arses, could give him the drugs.

The day after the day above

Alex phoning a taxi to take us to the supposed "Hawaii of Croatia". See the next few pictures and make up your own mind about that one. Our taxi driver was a legend, we had the same guy every time, and he took us everywhere. I had a picture of him, but I deleted it by accident. God bless him, he was a good lad.

I'm not quite sure where this is from. One of the guidebooks maybe, or some printouts of beaches Alex had?

Donna stoked on the beach

Alex not stoked on the (fake) sand beach. (He is asleep on a sand volleyball court, he woke up after he got attacked by an agro midget with a volleyball!)

The usual contents of our bag: juice, yoghurt, cereal, and here there is also chicken, olive oil, and some other stuff. Good stuff.

Yeah shopping. Just as a random bit of info; we shopped 3 times (I think). On one occasion I was leaning on the scales for weighing fruit, and I was in the way of another woman. Alex and Donna told me, and I moved out of the way, only for her to call me back and make me weigh and label all her fruit and veg!
