Arcade Fire - 'Funerals'

Arcade Fire have been as good from the beginning as the hype surrounding them recently shows they are now. 'Funerals', their debut, is classic Arcade Fire, with tracks that sound like quiet happiness in music form, and tracks that speak powerfully of missed family members. The most well known track on it is probably 'Rebellion (Lies)', and those of you who saw the Where The Wild Things Are trailer (which you must have done unless you were living under a rock) will recognise 'Wake Up'. This album definately deserves its place iin Nick Grimshaw's 1000 Albums Everyone Says You Should Listen To. Click here to listen.

Ludacris - 'Incognegro'/ 'Back For The First Time'

Ludacris' first album, reissued by Def Jam under 'Back For The First Time' in 2000, is sick. Should be in Grimshaw's 1000 Albums as far as I'm concerned. Plus it's one of those rap albums where the skits actually funny!
